What a great turnout we had for our Halloween Costume Portrait Sessions! Yesterday (and still on-going today) we had several children come in to have a free portrait taken by Bob in their costume. Everyone had lots of fun! We will be here until 7pm tonight, for anyone who still wants to stop by and take part in the event.

All parents were sent home with a free portrait, as well as an invitation to enter and vote in our Halloween costume contest. We welcome everyone to check out our website, where portraits of each child will be posted. Please vote for your favorite and most creative costume! The winner will receive a free childrens portrait session. Here are a few samples of what we saw yesterday!

Halloween aside, we have many more events going on at the studio and around the community. Our November newsletter is in the works, which will explain to everyone information regarding our Holiday card promotion. Family portrait holiday cards are a great way to display how your family has grown up over the past year. We have a variety of different holiday card templates, so that you may chose the best type of card to fit your holiday style personality.

We have also donated a free holiday card portrait session to both the Kennebunk Free Library Silent Auction, as well as the Benefit for Fitzy, put on by Pillsburys. Each will take place on November 8th. Please stop by to support each, as they are both for very good causes-and please enter to win a portrait session with us!

Any last minute seniors still out there? We still have availability for any last minute seniors wishing to have their portraits taken. I know there are a few high schools whos deadlines for yearbook portraits have not yet arrived yet. Here is a look at our latest seniors-Calina and Rachel.

Fall Happenings

www.robertakersphotography.com

Hi everyone,

RA Photography has been so busy the past few weeks trying to photograph and edit any seniors still needing portraits. It's been crazy but great!

Over the next few weeks, we will be working on making the community aware of our Halloween Promotion. On October 28th and 29th, from 11am-pm, we will be offering a free session of anyone in their Halloween costume. After the event, all participants will be emailed a free web-file of their professional image. This is your chance to have a keepsake memory that will last a lifetime! If you would like to schedule and appointment, please give us a call at 207-985-4606. Please feel free to spread the word to anyone you think might be interested!

Last week was exciting, Bob was featured as the "person of the week" article in the Kennebunkpost. The article focused on the International print merit point awarded for the photograph "Springtime in Maine."

Thanks to everyone keeping up with our blog!

Good morning everyone!

The past few days have been extremely busy around here. We are continuing to get in all of our last minute seniors photographed, edited, and in perfect yearbook form for their deadlines that are very quickly approaching.

Today is an exciting day- we are being interviewed by the Kennebunk Post for their feature article of "Person of the Week." We will be talking about our international print merit point won at the PPANE convention for the photograph entitled "Springtime in Maine." Also today, a press release about the photograph was put in the post. Very exciting. Stay tuned as we will post the date that our story will be published in the paper.

Also today, we are going to be marketing our display as Business of the Month at Ocean National Bank. Examples of some of Bob's best photographs as well as information regarding RA Photography, will be on display from the end of today through the end of October. If you have a minute, please stop by and check it out!

Have a great weekend!
